Catalog for Lampejo | Ceramic Objects Brand

INTRODUCTION

• Project Type: Catalog Design
•​​​​​​​ Objective: Create a visually compelling and informative catalog that encapsulates the essence of the brand while showcasing the unique qualities of its handcrafted, authorial design pieces. The catalog will narrate the brand’s story, introduce the team behind the work, and provide insights into the inspiration for each collection. It also features product images, technical specifications, views, and dimensions, designed to serve both end customers and interior design professionals, including architects and curators.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The design of Lampejo's catalog was inspired by high-end furniture brand catalogs, which are known for their impactful imagery and precise linear views accompanied by measurements. This format serves as an essential visualization and reference tool, particularly valuable for architects and interior designers who rely on these details to determine product suitability for their projects and spaces.

Layout studies

With this concept in mind, I applied a similar approach to Lampejo’s catalog. The ceramic pieces were presented immersively, occupying significant page space with styled images that placed the collections in contextual settings. Each collection included a dedicated page featuring detailed linear views and measurements, offering design professionals the vital information needed to assess dimensions and functionality for interior projects.

The catalog structure was crafted to effectively and engagingly reflect Lampejo’s identity. It opens with a section titled “Lampejo by Asadesign Studio,” introducing the team behind the brand and its core values. The products are then arranged by collection, facilitating an intuitive understanding of the distinct lines and their unique characteristics.

To deepen the narrative, each collection begins with a page highlighting the natural element that inspired its design. This page visually connects the inspiration to the pieces through an evocative image and accompanying text. The text explains the story behind the inspiration, introduces the collection’s pieces, and describes the production process, showcasing the craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail that define each creation.

The typeface Comfortaa, chosen for its rounded and contemporary design, reinforces Lampejo’s approachable and friendly brand image. Its organic forms resonate with the natural, fluid shapes of the ceramic pieces, while its modern aesthetic reflects the thoughtful design methodology that underpins the brand.

For the cover and back cover, a soft green was selected to create an immediate visual impact and strengthen the connection with nature. This choice aligns seamlessly with the natural environments captured in the catalog’s imagery, underscoring the brand’s deep ties to its inspirations.
